As an established provider of protecting vacant properties using live-in guardians across parts of Europe and England, Ad Hoc Property Management were launching for the first time in Scotland.

      Ad Hoc Property campaign

When introducing a company to a new market it’s essential to give a strong message about what the goals are and when possible give something new and exciting to the media that they aren’t aware of.

Ad Hoc Property Management’s message was clear, with an increase in the number of vacant properties and issues of metal theft hitting the headlines, they argued that live-in guardians are the most secure and cost effective method in protecting vacant buildings.

The local and national press in Scotland was identified as an ideal platform to springboard the guardian message in Scotland.

Fiona Rennie Public Relations initiated Ad Hoc Property’s introductory campaign using selective case studies in key areas to target both the local and national press and across broadcast.

We partnered this with significant business coverage outlining the company’s dedication to growing within Scotland.

We continue to support Ad Hoc Property Management in their media and political relations campaign. Coverage has appeared in key titles including, BBC televison, ITV, The Herald, The Scotsman, The Sun, Daily Record, The Sunday Times, BBC online, Business 7 and across various local newspapers.

      what they said

"I can not recommend Fiona highly enough. Her bubbly can do attitude and bulging black book of contacts ensure that we always get great coverage and fantastic results. Her ability to continually find new ideas of bringing your company to the fore front of peoples minds never fails to amaze me.

"I’ve personally been so impressed with Fiona’s work that I’ve recommissioned her talent in two companies I have worked with. Each time her dedication and professional prowess have shone through and without a doubt has had a positive effect on my own business."

    • As an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO), Active Stirling were looking to engage with the people of Stirling.
Their communication challenge was to make the surrounding communities aware of the facilities and support networks available to them across the region.

      Active Stirling campaign

Fiona built up relationships with local media organisations in order to develop a constant drip feed of news increasing awareness of the Active Stirling brand.

This allowed for events, activities and relevant news to reach the local and wider communities within the Stirlingshire area.

Always with an eye for a good story, one particular project with Active Stirling that came to light was when Fiona was working closely with Active Stirling’s Walking Network.

A fantastic group of people within each of the communities across Stirling were volunteering to manage and lead walking groups, encouraging those recovering from ill health, bereavement or just wanting to become more active.

Described as a lifeline by some members, Fiona thoroughly enjoyed publicising the walking support networks; highlighting the benefits, meeting those involved and demonstrating the important role of Active Stirling. As well as securing local and national news coverage Fiona organised a series of exclusive interviews with some of the walkers and coordinators with STV.
